Speakio uses account, learning and conversation information to provide its Android language-learning service. For questions or a data request, email speakio.info@gmail.com.
Information we process
We process your name, email, sign-in details and optional profile photo; your languages, level, goals, preferences, answers, progress and streaks; and text, optional attachments, call audio or transcripts and details you share with Luna. We also process call time, feature activity, app diagnostics, notification tokens, advertising identifiers and approximate location inferred from your IP address where applicable. Support tickets contain your report, contact details and our replies. For purchases, we keep Google Play order references, product details, dates and access status. We do not receive your card number. If you join the website early-access list, we store your email and signup details and use limited information to prevent automated abuse.
How we use it
We use this information to run your account, tailor lessons and AI conversations, schedule calls, track learning, answer support requests, verify purchases, send requested notifications, show advertising where applicable, diagnose problems and prevent misuse. If you provide your email through the website launch-update form, we may contact you about Speakio's public availability. You can request removal from that list at any time.
How information is shared and protected
We use service providers for account hosting, cloud storage, AI responses, speech recognition and voice, notifications, analytics, advertising, support and payments. We share the information each feature needs: for example, conversation text or speech with AI and speech providers, and purchase references with payment verification services. Advertising partners may receive approximate location inferred from IP address, app interactions, device identifiers and diagnostic or performance data to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. These providers may process data in other countries. Some preferences and learning content stay on your device. We use encrypted connections and access controls, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sharing sensitive details in AI conversations unless needed for your learning.
Your choices
You can edit your profile in the app, turn notifications off in Profile or Android settings, use available advertising consent controls, and export a learning summary from Profile. To request waitlist removal, access, correction or account and associated-data deletion, use Profile → Delete account, our account deletion page, or email speakio.info@gmail.com. We verify ownership before deleting an account.
Conversation memory and retention
Luna may remember details you share to make future practice relevant. Conversation text, transcripts and relevant memory can be sent to AI services to provide replies. Account and learning data are generally kept while your account is active. We do not promise automatic transcript deletion after a fixed period. Limited purchase, security or legal records may be kept where necessary and removed when no longer needed.
Purchase verification
We use Google Play purchase references and verified purchase status to keep access and speaking balances accurate, including confirmed renewals, cancellations, refunds and chargebacks. We do not receive your full card or bank credentials. Purchase and fraud-prevention records may be retained where necessary for accounting, security or legal obligations. Payment and refund conditions are described in our Terms of Service.
Younger users
Speakio is intended for adults aged 18 or older. If you believe a minor has used Speakio, contact us so we can review and remove their information.
